Danny Ward Armstrong
February 23, 1959 to May 23, 2004
Danny is now free! Free in the loving arms of Jesus.
Danny spent most of his life in the Tri-Cities. He had a special love/gifting for pencil art, for playing guitar and reading.
His teaching years were some of his most memorable, where he shared his love of history with the students he taught. He is survived by his father Dennis Judy Armstrong and his sister Cathy Fred Jamison. He also had two nieces, Tara and Jessica Kious, and one nephew, Justin Kious. He was preceded in death by his mom, Barbara Armstrong. Danny had several aunts, uncles and cousins who played a vital role in his life. We thank each of them for how they extended themselves to him over his life. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday May 26th at Einans Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.
Cathy – So sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. We had such fun as kids with Jimmy and your grandpa and grandma.
Thinking of you.

To Danny’s Family:
Our deepest sympathy to you all. We have some wonderful memories of Danny from our days in the youth group at Richland Baptist Church. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
Ralph & Mary Lettau
My sympathies in the loss of your son, brother and uncle Danny. Danny and I went to Carmichael and Col Hi together both in the class of 77, but we didn’t really become friends until we were in college at CWU and had classes together. It was nice to have a buddy from home! Danny gave me rides to/from Richland several times in his cute car with the custom painting of Bugs Bunny on it!. He was a pleasure to be around – a real gentleman.

I remember Danny from his many visits to our then Richland home while he was playing guitar in several of the gospel music groups our son Jeff and other Lettaus were involved with over Danny’s teenage years. Eventually Danny overcame some of his stage shyness and even performed vocal solos. He was always respectful and gentlemanly . . . a neat young man.
On his birthday I baked him his favorite cake, a German chocolate, & had his band pals Marc Douglas, Darin Wood, & Jeff Lettau, at our home, 412 Birch, Richland, Wn.
I’m soo sorry for your loss. It’s been to many years since I crossed paths with Danny; though, it seems like yesterday in my thoughts. I went to the same schools with Danny, and grew up right around the corner from him, 215 Abert where my parents and brother Jeff, still reside. His presence left me with such joy, warmth and friendliness. What a loving, awesome spirit! I don’t know the circumstance that ended this precious life, but rest assure, Danny is at peace, and still lives on with Jesus. He is still with all his loved ones in spirit, and you can talk with him anytime, He Is There; as your Guardian Angel 0:-.
Your in my thoughts, Danny, and, we Will cross paths again, when it’s my turn to cross over! 0:-
Take care of yourselves, FAMILY! And God Bless!

We are saddened by the loss of Danny, but glad that he is with the Lord, and his suffering is over. We remember Danny from his youth, especially his being so accident prone at youth camp at Touchet! Also, the band in which he played the guitar. When we visited him at Kadlec and Richland Care, he frquently mentioned his memories of RBC.
To me Danny was a great friend, and full of life. You will be greatly missed. In love and light ~ Tammy
