Helen Marie Fallness, 82, of Richland, died Friday, June 25, 2004, at Kadlec Medical Center.  She was born January 19, 1922, in Lexington, Missouri.

Helen met Cy in 1944, and they were married May 17, 1945.  They celebrated 59 years together this year.  They lived in Kansas City, Missouri from 1945 until June 1984 when they moved to Richland.

Helen worked for the J. C. Penney Co., Mattingley, and the Bendix Corp, a contractor for the Department of Defense.  She retired in 1983 after 25 years as a secretary for Bendix.  She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband to the Bahamas 2 trips, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hawaii 2 trips, Dublin, Ireland, the Alps in Switzerland, France, and a small part of Germany.  She enjoyed their second home on the Lake of the Ozarks in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.  She also liked to bake.

Helen is survived by her husband, Cy of Richland, WA; sister, Esther Nance of Kansas City, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2004, in Sunset Memorial Gardens followed by memorial services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be at Einan’s Funeral Home from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday.
