Christine Lenore Thompson, 47. passed away July 24th, 2004 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Christie was born August 24th, 1956 in Richland, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Barbara Crane and twin sisters Cheryl Lynn and Sandra Kaye. Christie is survived by her husband Timothy of Richland, her sisters Debbie Horne and her husband George of Silverdale, WA. Linda Farris and her husband Jon of West Richland, Kayla Welch and her husband Tom of Benton City, WA. She is also survived by 8 nephews, 2 nieces, 1 great nephew and 2 great nieces.

Christie worked at Hanford since 1983, was a member of the Optimists Club, and loved working in her garden. Christie will be remembered for her love of the outdoors and nature, her humor and fiery personality. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will he held at Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland, WA on August 7th at 10:00 am. Lunch to follow at Knights of Columbus, 2500 Chester Rd., Richland, WA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made of a charity of choice, in her name Her favorite charities were The Humane Society or please be generous to those angels who work at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice.
