  • My wife and I came to know Alma over the last 8 years when we would drive her and others to church on Sunday mornings. It is hard to believe she is gone. We saw her about a month ago and then were concerned a couple Sundays ago when she was not waiting as usual at her door, only to learn that she had fallen the evening before and was at the hospital. Alma was such pleasant person to know and so faithful in her church attendance. Always a smile, kind word always and so appreciative. She had a special place in my heart, because she reminded me much of my own mother – both in appearance, personality and all the good qualities that I remember of my mother. We will all miss Alma very much.

  • I had recently gotten to Know Alma during quilting at Richland Lutheran Church. Our last conversation was the end of Sept. after her circle meeting and I was at the church helping with a Red Cross blood drive. She wondered if she could still give blood and we talked about how much blood she had given in the past – a wonderful gift. I’ll miss her ready, warm smill. You are in our prayers. Sharon
