EINANS FUNERAL HOME Elaine Pyle, 83, of Richland, WA was born October 20, 1921, in West Linn, Oregon and died Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at the Guardian Angel Homes in Richland. She lived in Richland 4 years.
Elaine grew up in West Linn and lived on Stafford Road most of her life. She graduated from West Linn High School then from Walla Walla College with a BS in Nursing and from Gonzaga University with a Masters degree. She was a nurse anesthetist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, OR for 40+ years until retiring in 1986.
On July 10, 1960, Elaine married Robert Pyle in Portland, Oregon. Robert preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and she played piano and violin.
She is survived by daughters, Roberta Day of Richland, WA and Pam Fleischer of Naches, WA, and 3 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2004, in Riverview Cemetery, Portland.

My thoughts and prayers are with Elaine’s family. She was so delightful and interesting and was such an asset to our Sabbath School class. It was hard to watch her as her health failed but she had such a trust in God. She was so proud of her family and often talked of her daughers. We miss her.
