Jack C. Moore passed away on November 12th in Richland, Washington after a long struggle with Parkinson's. He was born Aug. 14, 1923 in Julian, Nebraska to Walter H. and Maude L. Cummings} Moore. He grew up and attended school in Powell, Wyoming until be enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942. During WW2, he served as a medic in New Guinea and was awarded a Silver Star and two Bronze Medals, In 1945 he married Helen Ostwald and they moved to Laramie, Wyoming where he attended the University of Wyoming,

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen, who cared for him during his illness. He is also survived by sons. Stephen and Robin Moore of Dillon, Montana, daughter, Kimberley DoyleBoatman of Richland, granddaughter, Mikel Chris Laird of Kennewick, sisters-in-law Ruth Moore of Wyoming, Maxine Olsen of Idaho, Lydia Stratford of Montana, Mary Ostwald of Montana and numerous nephews and nieces.

Pre--deceasing Jack were his parents and brothers, C. Rex Moore and Dean Moore.

His family is grateful for the memories we have of his practical jokes and sense of humor, as well as his love and care.

He will be cremated and, at his request, there will be no services or memorial. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. Inurnment will be in Wyoming.
