Marvin Leslie Davis age 75, passed away at his home Tuesday, November 23, 2004.

He was born July 19, 1929 in San Bernardino, California. Mr. Davis lived in the Tri-City area for 31 years and retired from the Tri-City Herald as a film developer. Marvin participated in Cool Desert Nights showing his 1964 T-Bird. He was also a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kennewick.

Marvin was in the Korean War which he received the Korean Silver Medal , Two Bronze Silver Stars, and a United Nations Silver Metal. He also lived with Marilyn Monroe in an Orphanage in San Bernardino, California.

He is preceded in death by; his daughters, Cindy Rose Smith and Sally Davis, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elkins.

He is survived by his sons, Patrick Davis and his wife Linda, Bert Davis and his wife Lanae, daughters, Lori Ann Holdbrook, Lisa Cook, and Sherry Simons. 19 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 26th from 4-8pm and on Saturday, November 27th from 3-5pm at Einan’s Funeral Home.

Marvin’s family will be having a military funeral service at 11:30 am on Tuesday, November 30th at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.

  • Daddy,you will be greatly missed by all. Though we all lost a wonderful and kind caring man, who was our father,grandpa,friend and most of all my daddy. You will always be alive in our hearts and memories where there we can remember and cherish you.
