Yvonne Suzanne Jordahl, age 80, of Kennewick, WA, was born November 18, 1923, in Sioux Falls, SD to Harold and Aurora Jordahl. She passed away November 16, 2004.

Yvonne moved to Miami, Florida with her parents later graduating from the Miami, Florida Technical High School. By coincidence of name, she met Julius Jordahl during WWII while he was in the NAVY. They married December 3, 1942.

After the war, they lived in Miami eventually moving to Broomfield, Colorado where she raised their four children and pursued a successful career in real estate. She was involved in the United Church of Christ and charity activities as well as the Broomfield Women's Business Organization. Yvonne and Julius moved to Kennewick to live with their daughter, Carolyn, and her husband, Erick Reynolds in November, 2002.

Julius passed away in July of 2003. Yvonne is survived by her sons, Julius Linton Jordahl of Brunswick, GA, Kenneth Jordahl of Marysville, WA, Bruce Jordahl of Broomfield, Colorado; daughter, Carolyn Reynolds of Kennewick, WA, and 8 grandchildren.

Navy memorial services are planned for both Yvonne and Julius Jordahl at Pearl Harbor, Oahu as husband Pearl Harbor Survivor and wife.
