EINAN’S FUNERAL HOME Maxine L. Thomas Yeager, 72, of Othello, Washington, died December 15, 2004, in Richland, Washington. She was born January 30, 1932, in Yakima, WA where she lived her early years on South 16th Ave. Maxine graduated from Yakima High School in 1952.

She married Howard Yeager in the back yard of her family home in Yakima on June 15, 1952.  They were married 52 years at the time of her death.  They lived 33 years on Jovita Blvd in Edgewood, WA before moving to Othello 6 years ago.

She was a homemaker and a mom who was proud of raising her 3 girls and see the births of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As a youth, she loved to go fishing.  She was a member of the American Paint Horse Assn and a founding member of the Washington State Paint Horse Club.  Dad always says he converted her from an avid fisher to horse woman.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Howard D. Yeager; daughters, Vikki Michael Conrad, Jamie Brendan Kerin, Cassie Cairns; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Vernon Sylvia Thomas, Pauline Kennedy, and Barry Judee Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Ollie Thomas.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2004, in Westhills Memorial Park, Yakima.

Donations may be made in Maxine’s memory to the American Lung Assn. 2625 3rd Ave. Seattle, WA 98121.
