  • Freida, Walt & Jerry-Since 1968 Shorty and his family have been a very large part of the Lettau lives. We would not be who, what and where we are today if not for his friendship and Christian witness. He was a great man, a great Christian, a great friend and, sometimes, almost a father to many of us. We will miss his welcoming, smiling face and his jovial chiding. I will personally always treasure the many hours we shared at work in the Control-X days and over a pool table at his home and at the Richland Senior Center. I am glad, as I’m sure you all are, that Shorty is no longer suffering and is in the presence of his Lord. We shall see him again over there. God bless you all especially at this time of loss.

  • Freida, Walt, and Jerry:

My prayers go out to you at this sad time. I know that Shorty is with the Lord and pray that Lord will give you comfort and peace with that knowledge. I have fond memories of our families going fishing together, and of Frieda’s cornbread. God bless you all.

  • Dear Walter:

Just a note to add my wishes of sympathy for you and your family upon the death of your father. I saw the obituary in the paper, and immediately thought of you. There are so many of our classmates who have been faced with the loss of one or both of our parents. Know that I am thinking of you. Janet
