  • Chris and Melissa,

I was very sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. I worked with your mom at Verizon in Coeur d’Alene and later in Kennewick until I retired two years ago. I will always remember Linda with all her stories and how she could make you laugh hystarically and how proud she was of both you and her grandchildren. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family for your loss. Linda was truly a great lady and will be missed by many who knew her. May God bless all of you! Ronnie Hunter

  • Linda was a classmate, and very good friend from Liberty High School. Although I had not kept in touch with her within the past 10-15 years, I still considered her a great friend. We were in a small group, both “guys” and “girls” that hung out together a lot in high school, and she most often was the instigator of a lot of the things we did. She was fun, “loud”, and an excellent friend. She helped out a lot in our school plays, both being in the plays, as well as helping the drama teacher in a lot of aspects of the plays.

One of the fun things we did that I will never forget, is the time that Linda, and several other friends decided to walk from Fairfield to Liberty, which was probably 8-10 miles. We got up early in the morning, and took off….we didn’t take the main road…we took the route of the train tracks, thinking it would be shorter. We made it, but we were tired, hungry and thirsty!

I just want to extend my deepest sympathies to her family, especially son, Chris and his family. Also, would like to hear more about Linda’s time in the Tri Cities.

Again, I’m very sorry for this loss. It was shocking and very sad when I heard this news.
