Mrs. Olson & Donny,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have some great memories of Mr. Olson during my time coaching in Connell. He was a great fan and supporter of his family and also of Connell sports. I’ll never forget the great, big hug he gave me in the Grandview lockerroom after we had beaten Colfax and earned our trip to state. In the years that followed I was fortunate to run across him, we visited and got caught up on events. He was a person I’ll remember with very fond memories.
Sorry we are not going to be there to see you all but we are out of the state in sourthern Nevada and southern Utah. We just wanted you to know how sorry we were to hear about Don. He was a Great Guy. Our Hopes and prayers are with the family and we will see you all one of these days. Love and wishes Connie & Felix Anderson
We mourn the loss of a very loving uncle. Felix still vividly remembers the family reunion and the fishing trip at Bumping Lake during which uncle Don tried so hard so that Felix could catch a fish. Uncle Don will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, a loving father to his children, and the special bonding he had with our mom. May he rest in peace.
Love,
Bette and Felix

I Love you all so much and will miss dad forever. There is such a overwhelming sadness that he has passed that I almost cannot believe it. My family has been great since dad passed by uniting in his honor and hanging on to what is important to dad and all of us, to love and take care of eachother. Dad is smiling at us and will now be able to rest in peace knowing that we are here for eachother always. My heart is breaking and having all of you by my side with Mom, along with my own family has and will continue to be the only way we can move on. Dad will always be a big part of us in spirit and memories. He was a great person and just reading about the lives he crossed paths with and the impact he made makes me proud to be one of his daughters.
I love you all and Mom you have been so unbelievably strong. I am so proud that we all came together for you and all of us to make this a healing process, I know we have a long road and dad will be watching us every step of the way.

I wish I could be with you to share the memories today. He brought joy to so many. Please know you have been in my prayers.
To the Olson Family, I will truly miss Uncle Don. Although we have all grown apart from our early years I will always remember the times we got to spend together growing up. I’ll never forget all the Easter Sundays at Aunt Jeri’s and Uncle Leo’s and the big Easter Egg Hunt’s. I always remember Uncle Don trying to keep control of all the kids as we ran and tore up the yard looking for eggs. Uncle Don was always such a piller of power to me as I grew up and that’s how I will always remember him. I’m truly sorry for the loss and if there is anything you need please let me know.

So sorry to hear about Don’s passing away. Louie Bort and I are sad to hear of his death. Don, myself, Louie Bort, Ray Thomas and Dale Mullenhoff were great high school buddies together at Wapato.
I did not know where Don was at since high school…if he did attend a school reunion, we missed each other.
It certainly is a small world; I’ve lived in Richland since 1954.
Please feel free to contact myself 627-6405 or Louie Bort 947-4506.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.
I am sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I remember him as a caring & loving family man, at all the sporting events at Connell. Alice, you and your family are in my prayers. May God bless you all. Donna
Don has been our neighbor since 1967 when he moved to Wahluke. He has not only been a neighbor, he has been a dear friend. He had so many excellent qualities, its hard to number them all. He will be deeply missed!
We are so thankful that he was apart of our lives. His influence is truly inbedded in our hearts.
Our sincere thoughts are with you Alice, and family!
Sincerely,
Darrell & Joy
My deepest sympathy to Alice and the sons and daughters and all the other family and friends. I got to share a very important occassion with Don several years ago when his youngest daughter and my only son were married in Washington. I found him to be a very good man and a caring father, and I enjoyed the time I spent getting to know him.
Again, sorry for your loss.
Dear Olsen Family, My heart goes out to you. You had a great dad and Don will be dearly missed. It will be hard for you but he is in a better place and Don is no longer suffering. You have a great family that is strong and will become stronger because of this.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
May God comfort you at this time. Remember friends are here to help you.

I think that our fondest memories are those spent in the mountains looking for elk.
It was nice to see all of you at Uncle Dons funeral on Wednesday, sorry to all I missed. I know this is a very difficult time and it seems like the end of the world, and right now I’m sure you all feel that way, trust me it does get better. Cry when you feel you need to, Laugh alot, look up to heaven and talk to him. It all may seem silly now but it really worked for us. If you ever need someone to talk to call me. God Bless you all you are a wonderful family and Uncle Don was very proud, Aunt Alice you’ve done a great job you have something to be very proud of.
All my Love
Jeff
I have fond memories of him down at the Duster field during Don Jrs. ballgames. I was sorry to hear that he had passed. Please accept my dearest condolences for your loss.
All of us from the office wanted to let you know we are all thinking of you thru your loss of Don. He was a very brave and strong man and know he loved his family very much.
