We have known Gordon and Ethel for nearly 40 years through King of Kings Lutheran church. We joined soon after Gordon and a couple of other families began the mission exploration activities. Especially in the early years of storefront worship, and eventually growing into our present church facilities, we would make an effort to sit near Gordon and Ethel. His very controlled and on-key voice, could always be counted on as a solid reference point to help us to stay on track through often difficult songs. Gordon knew all the hymns well, and could flawlessly switch octaves as easily as most of us could follow a familiar tune. Through all the years I knew him, Gordon was always there to do his part. His contributions were significant and appreciated. It is good to know he now rests contentedly in the arms of his Savior, whom he served gladly in this life.

I have known Gordy for a number of years. Always enjoyed talking with him. I bowled with him many times. Will truely miss a good person.

Ethel:
I was sorry to her that Gordon passed away, but at the same time, realized that it is good that he didn’t suffer a lengthy illness.
Gordan and you were one of the most compatible couples I ever knew and I pray that you are holding up o.k.
I’ll always recall the number of times we spent together in the bowling alleys, sharies memories, jokes, and having fun.
God Bless You!!
