Ramona June Kelley

My dearest Family and Friends,

On April 15, 2005, I completed my journey here with you. Through God’s infinite compassion, I saw the beauty, goodness, gentleness, forgiveness and mercy from all who shared my life.

I was born June 12, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN, an only child to Florence and Ward Potter. We moved to Kennewick in 1945. I graduated from Kennewick High School in 1946. I went to Sacred Heart School of Nursing, Spokane, and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1949. I worked at Camp Hanford Army Hospital until it closed in 1961.

One of the greatest blessings in my life was when Mark and I were married in 1955 at Christ the King Church in Richland, WA. Although we had no children, Mark brought joy, strength, courage and enrichment to my life and we were blessed with so many friendships. After 42 years of marriage, Mark’s death in 1997 left a tremendous void in my life, but I realized caring, giving, and sharing are the ingredients for love, and I hope you will all live your life this way each and every day. I believe the most precious gift you can give to anyone is to pray for them.

My closest survivors are: Trudy, Blake, Mark and Pat Spilman and numerous cousins. Thank you for sharing my life.

God Bless All,

Ramona Kelley

A Rosary/Vigil service will be held 6:00 PM Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Einan’s Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, April 18th at Christ the King Church.
