Thomas Edwin Day Age 79 – went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2005. Tom was born on April 2, 1926, in Auburn, Washington.
He was the son of George Marion and Beulah Elizabeth Wright Day. Tom is survived by his daughter, Iva Kringle and her husband Ken of Turlock, CA, son Timothy Day and his wife Rhea of Deer Park, WA and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his son, George Thomas Day, and his wife of 48 years, Iva Irene Barnes Day. Tom served in the Air Force during World War II. He married Iva in 1945 in St. Louis, Mo. They moved to the Tri-Cities in 1948 and were the owners of Day’s Studio. They worked together from 1946 until retirement in 1992. Tom attended First Christian Church of Kennewick, Washington until moving to Deer Park, Washington in 2002 where Tom was a member of Christ’s Church, Deer Park for the past three years. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland, Washington. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at Einan’s.
