  • I’ve known Katherine for many years. She and my aunt, Louiza Carratt, came to most of my familys holliday family dinners and she was always a happy gentle addition.

In more recent years I would drive my aunt Louiza, Katherine and ofter one of their other friends all over the community to see the Christmas lights. A couple of years Katherine also went with us to see the Luminaries where a whole neighborhood lit candles in white paper bags and lined their porches, driveways, and sidewalks. Katherine so enjoyed the lovely sight.

Katherine and Louiza were the best of friends and went together to the many Masonic and business womens organizations that they both belonged to as well as sharing their church activities. They were truly sisters of the heart.

  • I remember the summer I stayed with her while the family was on vacation and I helped her move from her old house to her new house. I was about twelve. You will be missed.
