Lee Roy Peebles
Lee Roy Peebles, 83, of Desert Aire, Washington passed away July 16, 2005. He was born November 30, 1921 in Newton County, Missouri to Leroy and Freda Peebles. He lived 70 years in Yakima, Sunnyside and the Tri-Cities, retiring from Hanford as a Power Operator. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Richland.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one brother. He is survived by his wife Alice Wilma Peebles; daughters Susan Beavers of Cottondale, Alabama, Cindy Clark of Green Valley, Arizona, and Sharon Schermerhorn of North Las Vegas, Nevada; son David Leroy Peebles of Defiance, Ohio; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Einans Funeral Home, Richland, with interment to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside. Visitation will be Friday the 22nd from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, also at Einans.
