Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

  • Dearest Steph, and Trish, Trent, Brett and Renyel. Lynn the boys and I are deeply saddened by the loss of your husband and father and one of our best friends. It’s hard to believe that I have known Skip 28 years and all of you have been such a close part of our lives for 22 years. Skip is the most loving husband, father, grandfather and friend we have ever known. I will always remember Skip as the kindest, gentle, Manager I have ever had. I will also never forget the endless pranks he is known for. I don’t know the number of times Skip asked me to slam on my brakes and he would scream just to scare the sleepers in the back seat. I’ve also been asked to drive off the road, at his request, and pretend I was asleep. Camping, holidays, baseball, volleyball were events we will always remember. Skips friends and co-workers will always be better people for knowing him. For the children and grandchildren, remember all the special moments spent with your “daddy” and “papa”. They are memories you will cherish for life. You all can be assured that Skip will continue to look over each of you.

    With all our love,

Lynn, Alan, Neil & Steve Lowe

Well Skip you done it You are now IN HEVEN With streets paved with GOLD, No more pain, sorrow or suffering. We are happy for you, because now you are with the LORD. The LORD gives and takes away. I just wish that I could just understand Why the LORD takes all the good, loving, humble and People persons like you and leave’s all these killing wicked people here on this world with us. The LORD said he would not give us more than we can endure. You were one of my better managers at Purex you cared about others and was a great team player. I was very blessed that you were a part of my group of Purex Employees. I and the Others, will miss you very much.

I Thank You Skip For being a part of my life.

  • Stephenie,

I have known you and Skip for over twenty years. Skip was my boss for over 17 years. Skip was there for me through everything that happened in my life on and off the job. I confided in Skip in all my ventures. He was always there to listen sincerely. When I went through a crisis last year, Skip told me that I was more like a brother to me than a friend. Skip is my brother. I love Skip Mooney. Stephenie, I have known all of your kids for a long time. You have an awsome family. I love all of my kids, but I have never seen a better example of a father than Skip Mooney. He loved his wife and all of his family. Last and most importantly, I know He loved Jesus.

God bless you Stephenie, and all of your family,

    I LOVE YOU

  • Skip Dad- People say it will get easier but I would like to know when that is?!? Everyday seems to get harder and harder. I miss you, I miss the times you played with Chase, the talks we had and the “be careful” when I leave your house. You are a special special man and I am lucky because in my husband is your kindness and your big heart. Today was Stephanie’s B-day and you were so missed at the house – if only one more hug – I love and miss you Dad! Terri

  • Daddy–I miss you more today then ever. You will live forever in my heart. You were a terrific father–never judged me-loved me in good and bad. The way you supported both your children and grandchildren in their many activities. I will miss your teasing, your loving spirit and especially your “be careful”. I praise God for the father he gave me and for the fact we will all be together again .

  • In the many years I’ve known Skip, I never knew him to get angry or mad. He never attacked anyone, nor would he respond with anger when attacked by another. He was the most even man I’ve ever known. I was never told what to do, or given a job assignment by him. He always asked me if I could do this or that for him, always with a thank you and a smile. Though no one is worthy of our Lords grace, Skip was the most worthy person I’ve ever known to have the Lord call his name to come home. Though there are many who are saddened by Skip’s passing here, there are even more blessed with his presence in heaven. Skip, you did a wonderful job while you were here and I ‘ll miss you. Thank you for the example you left us to follow.

  • I met Skip back when I hired into Tank Farms. Honesty and integrity come to mind when you mention his name. His smiling face and warm hello will be missed here at work. I’ve worked with his son Trent in the past years and see alot of Skip in Trent. You can tell he had a big impact on his family and fellow workers and he will missed by all.

  • I worked with Skip at Purex Plant in the late 80’s and Tank Farms currently. I always knew him to be fair and courteous to fellow workers. He seemed to always have time to listen to what people had to say, that in my opinion, is a good quality. I had seen Skip early last week come out the main door of the 242-A Evaportor ,and before I could say hello, someone had a question that Skip listened to, so I politely did not talk. Sometimes I guess it pays to say hello anyway. I will miss Skip, he was a good man.
