Karen Kay Harney
Karen Kay Harney, 62, of Kennewick passed away August 7, 2005 in Kennewick. She was born November 28, 1942 in Shelley, Idaho to William Delmar and Blanche Elizabeth Hanks. She was a member of the Desert Ski Club and Kosmos. Karen will be greatly missed by those she reached out and touched.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard P. Harney, and by her sister Norma. She is survived by her companion Jim Hart; sisters Connie Lynn Wornek, June Storer, and Sheryl Bert Landon; brothers Kent Virginia Hanks and Lee Denny Hanks; in-laws Jean Carl Bates and Bob Betty Harney; sons Dell Lisa Harney and Guy Cindy Harney; daughter Bonnie Harney and fiancé Darin Comer; grandchildren Leslee, Kellee and Emilee Harney, Shae Padilla, Michelle Williams, Kerry Richardson, Tracy Richardson and Josie Elizabeth Comer; great-grandson Connor Bultena.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2005 at Einans Funeral Home, Richland. Viewing will be Thursday the 11th from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
If you could imagine the most wonderful, most beautiful, most caring, most kind, most thoughtful, most generous, most loving. She captured the hearts of all who knew her. So long Karen. I love you.
