Linda Kay Moreno
Linda K. Kelley Moreno, 52 was tragically taken from this earth to be with her Lord and Savior. Linda will be greatly missed by all those she reached out and touched with her never ending love and prayers. Linda was born April 24, 1953 in Yakima, WA to Arlene Fisher and Wayne Kelley. She shared her life with family in Yakima and Kennewick. She moved to Kennewick in her junior high years to live with her step-mother Verna Brown and Wayne Kelley. Linda attended many years of Bible Study Fellowship to allow the Lord to mold and shape her gift of compassion and love. Linda recently began a floral design business, Perfect Touch Design. She so loved what she was doing and learned daily of the beauty of flowers that the Lord had created. Linda was preceded in death by her sisters Debbie Walkenhauer and Ky Mildfelt. Linda is survived by her husband Lorenzo Loren Moreno, mother Arlene Owen, father Wayne Kelley, brothers Richard Dick Mildfelt and Fred Mildfelt. Brother and sister-in-law, John and Marcia Moreno, mother-in law Irene Moreno and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Lindas life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday August 13th, 2005 at the Kennewick First Baptist Church. Memorial donations can be made in Lindas name at Key Bank in Richland and Kennewick, WA.
“Dancing With the Angels”
Monk and Neagle
Memories surround me
But sadness has found me
I’d do anything for more time
Never before has someone meant more
And I can’t get you out of my mind
There is so much that I don’t understand
But I know
Chorus:
You’re dancing with the angels
Walking in new life
You’re dancing with the angels
Heaven fills your eyes
Now that you’re dancing with the angels
You had love for your family
Love for all people
Love for the Father, and Son
Your heart will be heard
In your unspoken words
Through generations to come
There is so much that I don’t understand
But I know
Chorus
Bridge:
We’re only here for such a short time
So I’m gonna stand up
Shout out
And sing Hallelujah
One day I’ll see you again
Loren – you are in our prayers. They were such special women. Linda touched many with her faith. She has left behind a beautiful Christian legacy for you to carry on.
I was blessed to have known her.
You are loved! Heaven has two great people dancing with joy. And Linda and Danielle loved to dance but now its with there heavenly father.
Hang on to your faith Loren, and keep all the memories alive.
Linda was a Big Sister to me, and the memories I’ll cherish forever.
Loren your extended family is here for you and all the rest of the family. We love ya!
We will miss you..Our path began in jr. high and we saw each other on occasion at our childrens events. I remember the day I saw you with Danielle only a few days old..and I was one month from having my daughter & had my 3 year old son with me…Danielle was so beautiful…We will miss you Linda and Danielle and pray for Loren
I have so many great memories of Linda and our gang of high school girls. She was a good friend. When I learned she had married Lorenzo I could not have been happier for both of them.
My thoughts are with Loren and all of her friends and family.
With heart felt sympathy, Jane Oswalt Grebil
My thought and prayers are with you on the loss of Linda and Danielle. I knew Linda for many years when she was a beautician. She & I became friends and shared many thoughts about life and family. She was always sweet, kind and thoughtful. For many years after she stopped being a beautician, I would see her around town and we would always stop and catch up. God has certainly been blessed with some beautiful new angels. May God bless you in the days and months to come.
I have followed the news related to Linda and her daughter’s death…I live in Kennewick..I am 52 years old. When I saw the picture in the obit and recognized Linda as someone I went to school with it brought it even closer to my heart. I am sad that Linda and Danielle were taken from their families and friends in a crime that should not have happened. May your faith in God and the memories of the good times get you thru this difficult time. The community grieves with you.
I do not know you but my heart goes out to you in the loss of your dear wife and daughter. Such a senseless act! I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
She left this earth a hero and entered heaven a saint. We will miss her. We were blessed to have known her. God be with you Loren. Love, Dan and Linda
With Gods grace in their steps and heaven in their eyes both Linda and Danielle entered into His arms of love. Loren, your loss is heaven gain! We love you!
Love,
Jay and Laura
I have fond memeories of you and Linda and Danielle on a camping trip with Wendy and Larry Miller and Cassie. I brought my Wendy and Ryan and was very happy to be included. When we arrived at the camp site we looked at all the spots available and we picked a nice, more secluded area that complicated the backing in process for your trailer. You objected at first, saying that the other one would be easier to back into. Linda explained why we liked this one and she didn’t doubt your ability at all to be able to get the trailer right where she wanted it. You groaned but then I could see the wheels turning in your head and you decided to give it a go. It took some doing but you did it!! My father owned a lumber business and drove a big truck to make deliveries. He also hauled horses up into the mountains for horseback trips and I wasn’t so sure that he could have pulled it off. It was great!! Also I was struggling, as a single person, with harsh memories of my former husband and I thought how very blessed Linda was to have you. And I could tell that she new it. Family life presents lots of challenges but you both stayed together and made it happen. You were good examples for my kids to look to and God used you both to enrich my life and my children’s. That camping trip is a fun memory for us. Thank you do much. We love you and know God has a plan. He will sustain you and bring good some how out of this terrible pain. I continue to pray for you.
