Please accept our condolences for the loss of your father. We knew both of your parents through our square dance activity….what a wonderful couple.. Your Dad always had a smile on his face, regardless of how he felt. I set up your Mother’s first set of “books” when she had her business down near Roys…they were FINE PEOPLE.
I am sorry for your loss and want to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Although I didn’t know Herb, he produced a wonderful person in his son Steve, which to me says Herb was also a wonderful man.

Herb was an inspiration to me over 20 years ago when I joined the local MS support group. He helped me a lot. I send my sympathies to his family, and note that there is no longer a chapter in Yakima. Our area is served by the Greater Washington Chapter in Seattle. http://www.nmsswas.org
I worked with Herb in QA for the FFTF for a number of years, and I have only the highest regard for him. He was a man of competence, dedication, straight talk and integrity. And also a thoroughly decent human being. I am proud to have known him, and my prayers are with him and his family.

To the Stein Family,
I am very sorry to hear about your parents.I use to cut your dads hair and did your moms hair every week.I took classes from Betty for cakes. God looked around his garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked upon this Earth
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest
God’s garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
the hills were hard to climb
so He closed your weary eyelids
and whispered piece be thine
It broke our hearts to lose you
but you didn’t go alone.
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
We’ll miss you!
