Carol Lee Davis
Carol Lee Davis, 67, passed away on October 27, 2005 in King County, due to complications from an illness.
Carol was born in Prosser, the youngest of seven children, to Sarah Elizabeth Burn Davis and Floyd Davis.
She grew up in Benton City and graduated from high school in 1957. In 1960 she gave birth to her son Michael.
Carol worked at Westinghouse Hanford as a janitor and retired in 2003. She was a member of Benton City Baptist Church.
Carols greatest joy happened in 1997 with the birth of her granddaughter, Madison. Living the last eight years of her life as Grandma Carol were her happiest.
Her son, Mike Davis, granddaughter, Madison Stamm, and four generations of nieces and nephews survive Carol. She was also a surrogate grandma to Ryleigh Stamm, Tyler Wilhelm, and Josh Hayles. Her parents and siblings predeceased her.
A memorial service will be held November 5, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Benton City Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
Dear mike, and carols family. so sorry to hear about your mom,carol was a very great friend we had known her for a long time. ever since mike and terry went to school till now we remained friends, had a lot of laughs and fun times. i well remember her for her goodness and thoughtfulness of others and her love for jesus . till we meet again. he will hold her in his hands and keep her safe, no more pain just happyness john 3:16.
