Dale Edward Gustman of Richland, WA, received his final rest after an admirable battle with a lengthy illness. Dale was born into a farming family in Plainview, Nebraska on May 23, 1930.

He moved his young family to Washington state in 1956. He became a foreman on a dairy farm along the Little Spokane River, Spokane, WA. Later he started a 30-year career up to management with Safeway Stores, Inc.

He also was honored with two “perfect” great grandchildren, Elijah Rodriguez and Trista Smith. We must also give special recognition to Penney-cat.

Private family services will be held at West Side Church, Richland, WA on December 12, 2005.

Memorial may be made to Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House, Kennewick, WA or West Side Church, Richland, WA.

The family wishes to thank the following individuals for their compassionate care of Dale: Drs. C. Washington, S. Wadhwa, T. Rado, Pastor John Lipp, Chuck Ellerkin and Sheila Phillips, Mary Whitlow LTAC and the staff at Hospice.

Dad, we love and miss you, and we promise to be “good”. Your loving family.
