I remember, one summer, this tree root was growing into the side of the basement, and grandma was determined to dig it up. If I recall correctly the shovel handle broke, and smacked her in the hip. I don’t know if she was laughing or crying or if we even fixed the root problem, but we went inside and got grandma some ice, and laughed about it. I tell that story and I laugh hard just like it was yesterday. I love you grandma, and I will miss you.
Love, Aaron
I am saddened by the passing of my friend, Evelyn. She took care of my son, David, when I worked and lived in the Tri-Cities years ago. I learned so much from “Evie” as David called her about parenting, caring, and loving! David is who he is today, in part, because of Evelyn’s care and teaching. She was a “Jewel” and a Godsend to us. I am blessed to have shared a friendship with Evelyn!
We lost an ANGEL, but our loss is Heaven’s gain! Tom, Chris, Cory, Blaine, and Nancy, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With Love,
Ann Lewis
Thank you Evelyn for giving us “Uncle Chris” Cameron, Braeden and Alexandria love him more than anything he is a blessing to our family! Your family will be in our prayers during this difficult time!
