Agnes Toczek
Agnes Toczek died on May 29, 2006. She was born on April 20, 1910 to John and Theresa Caba of Tabor, South Dakota. After graduating from high school, she attended business college, then worked as a secretary for the Veterans Administration in Washington DC for several years. She married Robert Toczek, a science teacher, in Yankton So. Dak. , where daughter Sandra was born. At the start of the War they were transferred to Joliet, Illinois by General Electric, and later to Richland Washington, to work at the Manhattan Project.
Agnes was appointed to the Board of Directors and worked as a Secretary and Home Finder for Catholic Family and Child Service. After retirement she did volunteer service for the Red Cross. She also was an avid bridge player and golfer. Agnes was pre-deceased by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one sister, Anne Wengert of Medford, Oregon, daughter and husband, Sandra and Denis Van Loan of Redding, California, three grandchildren, Colleen and Dan Cadwell of Williamsburg, Virginia, Julie Van Loan of Sunnyvale, California and Mark Van Loan of Redding, California. Also there are 3 great grandchildren, Andrew, Shannon and Jane Cadwell of Williamsburg, Virginia, plus various nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be June 7th at 7 PM Einans Funeral Home in Richland. Funeral Services will be on June 8th at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, Richland.

Many years ago we played pinochle with Bob and Agnes. Agnes was a very kind and loving person and I enjoyed being around her. I think of her often and wish her to be with the Lord in Heaven. Love Audrey
