Tonya Lynn Gimpel
Tonya Lynn Gimpel passed away May 31, 2006 at the home of her parents. She is finally at peace after a lifetime of severe medical trials.
Tonya was born in Richland, WA on July 20, 1976. She attended schools in Idaho and Ohio. She enjoyed playing in the community sports programs, bowling, swimming and dancing. In high school she played the flute in the marching band. Tonya truly cared for people less fortunate. She volunteered at the hospital. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life.
She was devoted to her little boys, Zachary and Jordan, and loved them dearly. She is also survived by her parents, Rod and Vicki Gimpel; brother, David Gimpel; sister, Lacey Houseman; grandmothers, Sybil Pabst and Sheila Young; grandfather, Fred Gimpel; uncles, Craig Pabst and Ed Gimpel; aunts, Wendy Wallace, Cindy Gardes, Shelli Keith and Fran Gimpel. Her grandfather, Len Pabst, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the LDS Chapel on Jadwin. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM, also at the church. Einans Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
The family wishes to thank members of the Riverview Ward for all their love and support.

I am so sorry to here of Tonya passing away. I was truly shocked. She was such an amazing and strong woman and I loved to see her at church with her boys. I will miss seeing her smiling face and pray that your grief with be eased. Your whole family is in our prayers.

I am so sorry about what happened to Tonya. She was a good friend. I met her on the bus a couple of years ago and everytime I seen her she had a smile on her face. She was an amazing person with a even more amazing spirit. She loved her kids so much and was with them all the time. Rest In Peace Tonya… you were a dear friend to all and especially me you will be missed. : Bless you and your family as this is a sad time for all. My condolences go out to you all.
Tonya,Zachary and Jordan were a big part of my life over the last few years. I looked forward to seeing them every day as they got on my transit bus. She will be greatly missed,and let the boys know i love them. May God be with you and your family on this sad day.
Ms. Gimpel was a fine lady and a stoic patient of mine. She dearly loved her two boys, both of whom were with her last week when I saw her. I will miss her.
