Einan’s Funeral Home

Charles Auguste Marcoux, age 65, passed away on Friday, June 30th, 2006, after a two year battle with brain cancer. Our beloved father Charles, was a courageous man who made a positive influence in all the lives he touched. Charles was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His deep appreciation for life, friendship and laughter will be missed and remembered by all that knew him.

Charles was a pipefitter/welder by trade, and a longtime member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 598 in Pasco, Washington. Charles worked primarily in the energy field as a construction superintendent, managing the construction, installation and commissioning of many large hydroelectric, nuclear, gas and coal power plants throughout the United States.

Charles was an avid fisherman and big game hunter, and recently became addicted to the challenges of golf.

Charles is survived by his spouse and friend of 41 years Jill Airoldi; son Simon Marcoux and wife Anita and five grandchildren of Wenatchee, Washington; daughter Nancy Marcoux and husband Derrick and granddaughter Kristen of Denton, Texas; two brothers Gilles and Michel Marcoux and two sisters Florence Marcoux and Huguette Cote of Quebec, Canada.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to all those whose provided continuous support and prayers during the most difficult times. The family would also like to express their deepest appreciation to the caregivers at From the Heart in Pasco, Washington, and Dr. Lynn Taylor and staff at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington and Dr. Friedline of Kennewick, Washington. The care and compassion they gave to Charles throughout his illness and during his last days were truly a blessing.

Viewing will be from 3:00-7:00 pm, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Einan’s Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am, Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Christ the King Catholic Church; followed by a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens/Resthaven Cemetery; finishing with a reception at Christ the King Catholic School cafeteria. You will be in our hearts forever Dad… we love you!!
