Kathryn Kathy Howard age 44, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while sleeping on the evening of June 24, 2006, in her home in Benton City.

She was born on July 8, 1961 at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, California to Kenneth and Arlene Beal.

She is survived by husband Bradley Howard; her mother Arlene Beal, Fontana, CA; her three sons Jeremy Toombs, Michael Toombs and daughter-in-law Alice Ali Toombs, Kennewick WA, and Matthew Toombs, Batesville, MS; daughter Jenna Felice, Kennewick, WA.; sister Janet Griffin and brother-in-law David Griffin, Placentia, CA; niece Jessica and nephew Douglas; brother Tom Beal, Smyrna, TN; father-in-law Ed Howard, Cypress Island, WA; brothers-in-law Richard Howard, Benton City, WA and Tim Howard, Cypress Island, WA.; sisters-in-law Karen Wegrzyn, Anchorage, AK and Sheri Buggins, Sitka, AK.

Kathryn was full of many wonderful things. The way she could cheer you up when you were sad was one of the many gifts she had to offer. She had one of the biggest hearts that you could imagine in a person. She never wanted to see anyone around her hurting, and if she did see it, she would make it all better. She loved the people that were closest to her. She loved just sitting around talking, laughing, or just having a good ole time; being a mother to any child who walked through the door. If they just needed to sit and talk, she would listen and talk to them, offer advice. If a child came in the house hungry, she would let them eat to their hearts content, even make them brownies if they wanted some; they loved that.

The way she loved her family was so powerful. She would never let them do without anything, making sure they had what they needed. She would go to great lengths to make sure they were taken care of.

In closing, everyone needs to know she was very happy with her life. She once said, ''This is my fairytale come true.''

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 30th, at Evergreen Cemetery, just north of Benton City on Highway# 225 at 10:00 o'clock. Viewing is at Einan's Funeral Home on the by-pass highway, Richland, WA Thursday 5-8 pm. Flowers may be delivered to the funeral Home prior to the viewing or 9:00 am on Friday.
