Esther F. Geris, 69, of Kennewick, passed away July 5, 2006 at Hospice at the Chaplaincy in Kennewick. She was born October 25, 1936 in Rolla, Missouri to Amos C. and Ora E. Ferris Duncan.

She lived in the Tri-Cities for 59 years and was a retired Social Worker for the Department of Social Health and Welfare and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kennewick.

Survivors include her beloved husband Clifford J. Geris; daughter Vicky Quay Hunt and husband Darryl of Bonney Lake; son Mark Cain and wife Sarita of Portland, OR; son Alan Geris and wife Joyce of West Richland; daughter Julie Mabry and husband Marvin of Pasco; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents Amos and Ora Duncan; brothers Lawrence, Darrell and James Duncan; son Michael Cain; and beloved dogs Missy and Buffy.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Einan’s Funeral Home, Richland, WA, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
