  • For the past 5 years I have played Bingo at the Knights of Columbus with Lila. She was a wonderful woman with a keen wit and sense of humor. She especially was fond of my son Eric, 21, who would help her weekly into the car after bingo. Now that he left for college she would often as, “How is my boy”. She will truely be missed by all.

  • Norma & Fred ~ I didn’t know until late this afternoon that Lila Mother Tausch had passed away. What a full and productive life she had!

God gave us a “Memory” so that we could have “Roses in December” and she will be remembered–and missed–by so many of us…

My condolences to all of the family. Bev

  • We have known Lila for quite a long time. We loved it when she came to watch our daughter play softball. She was so full of energy. She had a wonderful sense of humor that we will miss. She always made us laugh. She loved us and our kids. I miss talking with her on the phone. We love her very much and will miss her stories. We are glad to have known her. God Bless all of her family at this time. You are all in our prayers.

  • Lila was an avid Tri-Cities American fan! She was a season ticket holder, who definitely “stayed the course.” I always enjoyed visiting with Lila through the years. She was like my “hockey” grandmother: Her concern and understanding after my mother’s death was sincere. She would always ask about dad. Section Z wasn’t the same when she moved to Section S, and the hockey games just won’t be the same.

Lila, thank you for your friendship.

  • I was so very sorry to hear of Lila “grandma” Tausch’s passing. When my folks Dorothy and Ron Filkowski moved to Richland from North Dakota in the 60’s, she looked after the young couple, and especially so, when my mom was pregnant with me. As a child I spent many days visiting at her house, and as I grew up, I selfishly adopted her as my “grandma” since mine lived 1000 miles away in North Dakota. I will always remember her generosity toward my family. Thanks to the tausch family for sharing her with us. Our thoughts are with you now, wishing you peace.
