Rodney ‘Rod’ Ellsworth Flett, 55, a life long residence of the Tri-Cities passed away on April 23, 2007. He was born in Prosser, WA on August 7, 1951 to Ogden and Francis Flett.

He worked 20 years as a truck driver for Basin Disposal INC. Rod was nominated by fellow drivers in 1992 as Driver of the Year.

Rod loved being with his family and grandchildren. They meant everything to him.

He is survived by his wife Linda; children: Ricky Flett, Trisha Flett, Cheryl Cromwell, David and Steven Magnuson, Holly Fox, Christy Crawford and their spouses; eight grandchildren; brothers; Bill and Dave Fox; sister Janice Flett; many aunts and uncles, cousins, many friends and his family at BDI.

He is preceded in death by his brother Richard, parents and grandparents.

Rod was ‘Pops’ to not only his children but to their friends, and Rod said he never had a bad day in his life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 28, 2007 at 2:00PM at the Word Of Faith Center, 1350 South Rainer in Kennewick.
