Virginia Van Reenen
Virginia Van Reenen, born February 18, 1923 in Richmond, VA to Samuel and Eva Moore. Virginia passed away on May 5, 2008 at the age of 85. Virginia was married to Henry Lee Van Reenen in 1941 after meeting on a blind date, and moved to Richland in 1947. Virginia's many interest included flower arranging, baking wedding cakes and reading.
Virginia's parents as well as her siblings preceded her in death, and her husband Henry passed away in 1975.
Virginia is survived by her three children Doris Frank Dollarhide of Richland, Brent SusanVan Reenen of Everett and Tim Patty Van Reenen of Richland, as well as her grandsons Cliff Lisette Smith and Terry Smith of the Tri-Cities, Aaron and Kevin Van Reenen of Seattle and Mark Van Reenen of Wenatchee, Garrie Sunday Van Reenen and Ira Van Reenen of the Tri-Cities and great-grandsons Stephen Smith and Phoenix Van Reenen of the Tri- Cities as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 915 Bypass Hwy, Richland on Saturday May 10th at 10:00 AM.
A special thanks to the Gardens at Columbia Center, Callaway Gardens, Hospice, and especially the wonderful caregivers of English Rose Manor.
