Anne was a bright student attending Idaho State for 1.5 years. She graduated from college of nursing in San Fransico, Columbia Basin JC with an AA degree and a BS degree in nursing from Eastern WA State U.

She was registered nurse for 28 yrs and found joy in her occupation. She had a strong work ethic and worked hard at everything she did. Anne was married to Bill Paschke for 21 yrs. Anne later married Al Pippitt, both of whom are deceased.

She was always very active and found pleasure being with people. She volunteered much of her time after retirement to several organizations like the Food Bank, Meals on Wheels. She was an active member of Richland Senior Citizen Association, along with Senior Duplicate Bridge Club and the Pinochle Club.

Anne and her husband Al spent several winters as "Snow-Birds" in Arizona where she kept busy with her many activities which included fishing, learning new dance steps and of course, socializing with her friends.

She had a wonderful since of humor and a very generous heart. Anne was an avid reader, never too far away from a stack of books. Mom loved gathering her family every Sunday to prepare meals for them, as cooking and new recipes were important to her. She loved animals, especially her kitty Lucy Lou.

  • Please express all of our sympathy and prayers to my cousins and their families. We are sorry we will not be able to attend the memorial service. Both Larry and I remember Aunt Anne as a fun loving and out spoken person. We lift our glasses of “hooch” in her memory. “Here’s to you Aunt Anne.” May she rest in peace. With love Larry and M. • I was saddened to learn of Anne’s passing. Anne was a kind, warm-hearted lady with a great sense of humor. She was one of the highlights of our Pasco neighborhood, and she and my mom were great friends. While growing up, I had the sense of living in a neighborhood where the adults cared about all the kids, not just their own kids. Anne was a big reason for that, and it was a great feeling.
