Betty Jean Boyer Bracewell
Betty Jean Boyer, 84 of Richland, WA passed away June 6, 2008 in Richland. She was born on February 1, 1924 in Mukilteo, WA to James and Anna Bracewell. Betty was raised in the Everett/Mukilteo area and attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Everett High in 1943. Betty received her Associates Degree and became a Social Worker for DSHS in Everett, WA. She retired from DSHS in 1988.
Betty enjoyed being with her grandchildren and liked to go camping with them and taking them on trips.
She is survived by her children John W. Boyer, Robert W. Boyer, David A. Boyer Sunyo, Judy A. Calkins Marvin, Mary S. Penning Robert, and Laurie A. Warman, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Interment will take place at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett, WA and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
I’m so sorry to learn of Betty’s passing. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I enjoyed her sense of humor. I’m sure she will be deeply missed by all.
I am so sorry for your loss. Our Mom passed away a month ago today. Tears still fill my eyes as the memories come flooding back. I will hold my memories of your Mom close to my heart.
Time passes so quickly. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were at the farm in Sunnyside with Aunt Annie. I was scared to death of the rooster….
