  • Although I never had the pleasure of working side-by-side with Gary, I did have the great pleasure of knowing him. I consider him to be a good man with a big heart and feel blessed to call him my friend. The world just lost one of her best and heaven has gained a great soul. We will miss you, Gary!

  • I had the pleasure of working with Gary at the Vit plant and he was always quite the gentleman when he would come into the time office with his requests or comments. My heart and prayers go out to the Best family during this difficult time. May it give everyone comfort knowing Gary is in a much better place. Gary will be missed by all who knew him. God bless.

  • Although I only knew Gary for a short time, while working with him on nightshift it felt like alot longer. We talked about work, the crews and what was going on in our lives. On days their was less time to discuss things. Gary always had respect for his fellow workers and in return they respected him. Gary will be missed by many and never forgotten. I am proud to say I got to work with Gary.

  • dear uncle gary,

i will always remember that goodhearted person you were. you were always quick to make up for your brothers lack of love. a little goes along way i mostly remember being around you in the 1980’s. it was always fun to go out to benton city and see gary and tammy. i am truly saddened, and will miss you, i know you come from a not so normal family but the one thing is that everybody loved you. i will remember the laughter and the smiles. tell renee i said hello!

  • I met Gary and Tammy back in 1993 when my son and I took up the sport of Scuba Diving. Gary and I spent many hours underwater and enjoyed every minute of it. Gary always had good things to say about people and loved his family very much. His laugh was always something that I will always remember. After moving to Arizona four years ago I lost contact with him and Tammy. I was very saddened to hear that he has passed away. I will miss you Gary but perhaps someday we will met again. Perhaps even dive again together. God bless to the family, especially to Tammy.

  • I’am writing this to you my uncle. I will miss you so very much! God knows we definitely went thru some crazy times in our lives together. We grew up together!! As a matter of fact I did my growing up with you, & my other favorite unlce Vernon, my auntie Nancy, auntie Tammy, and auntie Renee! And my God did we have some fun! I’am the person I’am today because of lifes lessons we all learned together. Alot of fun & funny times. & unfortunately some hard & some sad times. As time passed we did’nt get to see each other as much as we wanted. But all the phone calls & when we did get together were always full of happiness, laughing, and well, of course making fun of some crazy dis- functional thing that may have been happening at that time! and we all know what I’m talking about! We never judged & loved unconditionaly. It did’nt matter if we were wrong, to each other, WE WERE RIGHT! I will miss you uncle Gary, and I will see you again. Hug aunt Renee and grandpa for me, until then.. Love Your Niece, Savina

  • Although I did not ever meet you, I have heard such wonderful memories and nice words about what kind of person you were through Rey and my father-in-law Adan. It is always sad to see someone go, but encouraging to see that you touched so many lives. You are in such a better place now, but you will be very missed by many.

  • I did not know Uncle Gary, as he is known to some of you, but I attended his service yesterday with his neice Savina. It seems that I missed out by not knowing him. I thought it was a beautiful service and a lovely way to send his soul off to the other side. He seemed to have really touched alot of people in very special ways in his short life here on earth. I told Savina that when it comes our time to part, what more would we want than to have people say that we affected their lives in a special way. I know he will be deeply missed by alot of people. I am so very sorry for your family’s loss. It was wonderful to meet you all. Hopefully you will gain some peace knowing that while he was so special while he was here on earth, God had a higher calling for him in heaven. I’m sure he will be watching over all of you from his seat in the circle.

You are going to be missed a great deal, but never forgotten we will carry you in our hearts forever. I still can’t believe you are gone. WE LOVE YOU..
