James O. ‘Jim’ Aldridge
James O. Jim Aldridge was born in Schoolton, OK on November 18, 1927 to Dee and Ora Aldridge.
Jim was raised on a farm with his four sisters through the depression years. Jim graduated from Graham High School in 1946. After graduating he worked construction on his way to Hanford. Jim arrived at Hanford in July of 1948 and went to work as a power operator at the B Reactor. Jim completed his career at Hanford in August of 1988 as a power operator supervisor for Westinghouse.
Jim married Gertrude Anna Trudy Cluck February 11, 1950 in Richland, WA where they raised three boys.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Trudy Aldridge, Joe Gayla Aldridge, Dale Aldridge, Ken Heidi Aldridge; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday November 28, 2008 at 1:00PM at Einan's Funeral Home, with viewing prior to services at 8:00AM until service time.
Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with all of you. We loved Jim dearly and he will be missed so very much. We will remember the good times we had together. Jim is in a far better place now.
I have known Jim for some 50 years. He wokked at Hanford B reactor as I did. I enjoyed Jims stories.
When we was seperated by lay off’s we would still see one another through the years. He could tell some good fishing stories.
I sure enjoyed knowing Jim, Frank Trent.
I’m sorry for your loss. I wish it would have been possible for me to say goodbye. I’ll always remember him as a happy man who made the most out of life. I wish the best for the whole family. God bless you all.

We are so sorry for your loss, our hearts are grieving. Although we did not know Jim personally we know Joe and Gayla.
Ihave been taking the last few days and reflecting on my childhood. And I have so many good memories of Jim. From his pencil art jokes to Camping. I also Thank him for taking such good care of grandma. I am thinking of your family always.
