Ruth Irene Dudley 4/13/1928 - 5/7/2009

Our Mom, Ruth Irene Dudley passed away in the early morning on Thursday after battling heart trouble during these past few years. Her loving husband Dave, sons Dale & Dennis, and daughter Sandra Dudley Browning were at her side.

Mom was born in Billings Montana on April 13, 1928 and grew up with her brother Tom and parents John and Grace Streitmater. After high school Mom worked for the phone company where she earned enough to board the train to Reno Nevada. As luck would have it, Dave was on that very train. Later in 1955, after spending some time in California, Mom and Dad moved to Richland. A short while later they relocated to West Richland, where they stayed until today.

Later in 1987, Mom worked for Westinghouse where she developed many life long friends. She also cherished her grand children, loved working in the garden with her iris flowers, enjoyed sports, and made the best lasagna you could imagine. She is survived by her husband Dave, 3 children, 10 grand children, and 5 great grand children. We miss you Mom.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday May 12, 2009 at Memories at Sunset Event Center on the beautiful grounds of Sunset Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99336.
