Alfred Travis Rundle
Alfred Travis Rundle was born on August 22nd 1959 in Everett Washington to mother Leota and father Harold Rundle. After fighting Acute Leukemia M5 for one year, Al went peacefully with the Lord on June 3rd 2009.
Al married his wife Candice on December 4th 2008, and although they were only married almost 8 months to the day, she was the love of his life. Al has two daughters, April and Kirsten. Al loved life, family and his friends but his greatest joys were his nephews and nieces.
Al was a drywall taper, but had a variety of jobs. He owned a detail shop, had a CDL and drove both long and short haul, and got to travel a lot, which he truly enjoyed. Al dabbled some in real estate and received a 5-year pin from Boeing Aircraft working 8 years for the company.
Al's positive outlook on life and his unique sense of humor brought joy to everyone who knew him. Al was an avid fisherman and camper, but riding his Goldwing and his bike club, "The High Rollers" from Spokane, was his passion. Al became an honorary member right before he passed. He left us many memories through photos, as photography was one of his favorite hobbies and at one time his profession.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Leota Rundle.
Al will be missed by his family: father Harold Rundle; brother Keith Rundle; sisters Charolett Williams and Colette Carson; brother-in-law Bruce Carson; three nephews: Joshua Williams, Ryan Williams and Bill Carson; two nieces: Natasha Carson and Ashley Williams; stepdaughter Tammy Maple and stepson Gary Holford Jr.; eight grandchildren: Dustin Maple, Ashley Maple, Chelsey Holford, Laney Holford, Hunter Holford, Jordyn Holford, Noah Holford, and Joshua Hunter; in-laws: Kim Williamson and family, Nancey and Dan Trimble and family, Jim and Cindy Webb and family; Best Man: Marco Reyes and family; best of friends and long time buddy John Wall and family; as well as many cousins.
A special thanks to MN, ARNP Dianna Woolum Columbia Basin Hematology & Oncology, Kadlec Medical Center, and the Hospice House.
Visitation will be held on Sunday June 7th from 1-5 at Einan's Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held the following day, June 8th at 2 pm, also at Einan's Funeral Home. Al will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Richland during a short graveside that will follow.
THE THING OF IT IS AL WE WILL MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU FOREVER!
Keep a song of joy inside your heart, an' even though the time has come for us to part…We'll be together soon and time will fly…Cuz you never really say goodbye…
Boy, what do you say about Alfred? He was a kick in the pants! I have many, many fond memories of Al. Living just a path away from the rundle kids growing up, we were always getting into some kind of trouble. He will be missed.
I met Mr Rundle briefly, but wow, what a great guy, the world is at a loss without him in it.
I miss my dad everyday. I always want him here to talk to. But now I’m without my dad and I don’t get to introduce him to his grandson who is full of energy. I can’t wait to tell my son how strong my dad was. As well as a giving person. I really do miss him.
