Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
Mark was a very close friend of mine
when we worked together throughout the 1990’s. We shared some mutual hobbies, and often spent some time together after work hours.
Mark was a very diligent Engineer,
and took great pride in his work.
He will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to you for your loss. I worked with Mark for several
years at West Valley. Mark was a good person and very pleasant to
work with. My thoughts are with you at this time.
I remember in the early 1980’s my wife and I were invited to go to her employers home for a BBQ and we couldn’t locate a sitter that was free to watch our 3 children. Mark offered to drive out to Eltopia with another co-worker and spend the day with our children. I had a large basalt boulder in the bed of my pickup and remarked how heavy it was and difficult to load. Mark was curious where I was going to place it, so I showed him. When we got home later that afternoon, I found he had rolled that huge rock from the front driveway of my house to the rear where I planned to locate it. He had placed it exactly how and where I wanted it. That was how kind and considerate Mark was. I was unaware of Mark’s disease and wished I would have known so I could have visited with him during his ordeal. I guess I would do the same and keep it quiet if I were in the same situation. Mark was a proud man and didn’t want any pity I am sure. God be with you Mark!
It has been an honor knowing and working with Mark. He was a man of high integrity, dedicated, helpful, accountable. I’m sure he was all this and much much more to his family. He will be missed. God must be very pleased with the way he conducted his life.
