Faye Marie Mackie Dizmang O'Hara the best wife, mother, and grandmother and the only child of Lennie and Arthur Mackie was born on March 8th, 1920 in Blue Mound, KS. Faye passed away February 17, 2010.

Faye spent her childhood and teenage years in Blue Mound she was proud of being from Kansas and would reminisce about Kansas whenever she was given the opportunity. Faye moved west with her parents and fiancé Rollie Dizmang to farm in the Yakima Valley west of Wapato. Rollie and Faye were married in Goldendale, WA in 1941. In the summer of 1955 Rollie and Faye with their two boys Larry and Jim moved to West Richland. Rollie and Faye lived in West Richland until 1978 when they moved to the Oregon Coast where they managed Sea and Sand RV Park and later moved to Coyote Rock RV Park on the Siletz River. While living on the Oregon Coast Faye and Rollie cared for her mother whom suffered from Alzheimer's. Their life on the Oregon Coast provided their family with extraordinary vacation memories. Faye and Rollie were "Snow Birds" and would winter in Desert Hot Springs, CA. Rollie passed away while wintering in Desert Hot Springs in 1988. Faye then married Jack O'Hara whom she attended high school with in 1989 and moved back to Kansas where she resided until his death in December of 1994.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents Lennie and Arthur Mackie, her husbands Rollie Dizmang and Jack O'Hara and most recently her eldest son Larry Dizmang.

Faye is survived by her youngest son James Dizmang and his wife Linda; granddaughters Sondra Frank Steele and Dawn Willie Belote; her only grandson Neal Janessa Dizmang; five great grandchildren Tony, Kenny, Derricka, Hadari, and Sam; one great - great granddaughter Gracie; as well as many other friends and family.

Faye's family would like to say thank you for the wonderful care provided by TC Chaplaincy Hospice especially the care team lead by Peggy Kasper and the loving staff at Rosetta Assisted Living – Fisher where Faye resided for just over 2 years.

Viewing will be February 19th from 5pm – 8pm with services February 20th at 10am at Einan's. Graveside services to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

  • My children called her Grandma and she was loved by wy wife and myself as a best friend. As my Dads best friend in the last few years of his life,Faye was a considerate,loving and understanding woman full of grace and she will be missed by all.

    I know she is in a better place.
