Barbara F. Mihelitch stepped into Heaven on March 20, 2010 at Quail Hollow in Richland Washington.

Barbara was born and raised in Auburn Washington. She married Richard L. Mihelitch Sr. on September 5, 1953 in Couer d' lane Idaho. They moved to Eastern Washington in 1969 with their two children, eventually settling in Othello the spring of 1971. Soon after Barb retired as head cook at Othello High School, Richard and Barbara moved to Kennewick.

She is survived by her husband; Richard Mihelitch Sr., son; Rick Mihelitch Jr., daughter; Kim Mihelitch, 2 grandchildren; John and Laci Mihelitch. Five sisters: Gertrude Schneider, Rosita Smith, Louise Walters, Christine Cavanaugh and Damaris Lowe. One brother; Ted FitzGerald.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Matilda & William FitzGerald, 3 brothers; Billy, Walter and William FitzGerald.
