Ruth Cosens

Our beloved Mother and Nana, Ruth Cosens 78 years old of Kennewick passed on March 12th 2010.

She was born in Tallassee Alabama. She grew up in this area and met her first love Bobby Laverne Dillard. She was married for 11 years before he was tragically killed. She had 1 son Bobby Randall Dillard. She later met Pete Ard Niemeyer and was married for 17 years. She had 2 children, Kimberly Ruth NiemeyerGoering and Peter Kevin Niemeyer. Ruth later went on to marry Loren Dale Cosens who passed away in 2006.

Ruth is survived by her children, Randy Dillard and his wife Joleen, Kim Goering and her husband David, Kevin Niemeyer and his wife Steffanie. Grandchildren, Melissa Dillard and her fiance' Eddie Rodriguez, Matthew Dillard, Bobby Dillard and his fiance' Erica Swenson, Clint Dillard, Cherice Goering and her fiance' Cody Blackwell, Leianna Goering, Chelsea Niemeyer, Brittney Niemeyer, Ailie Niemeyer. Great Grandchildren, Andres Rodriguez, Noah Dillard, Adam Vanderpool and Ryan Howard. Sister in laws Margie Peppers and Beatrice Peppers as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Mom often told us if she knew her grandkids would be so much fun, she would have had them first!

At her request there will be no memorial service. In leiu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in her name to your charity of choice or the TriCity Cancer Center.

She is preceeded in death by her brothers Allen Peppers, Leamon Peppers, Herman Peppers and sisters Betty Todd and Nellie Woods.

Her ashes will be taken to "Sweet Home Alabama" and placed next to her brother.

Thank you mother for all you have done, You took great care, of your daughter and sons.

You loved us all from the very start, with your warm, kind and loving heart.

Thank you mother, for being strong, While trying to teach us right from wrong.

If anytime, we had a problem, You were there to help us solve them.

You'd lift us up, when we were feeeling blue, thank you mother, for we could always count on you.

You were such an awesome mother, The love you showed was like no other.

Thank you mother, for your dear sweet love, Now you'll watch over us from heaven above.
