George E. Johnson, Jr
George E. Johnson Jr. passed away on December 16, 2010. He was born on February 14, 1954 to the proud parents of Addie Ruth Avery-Johnson and George E. Johnson Sr. He was a community police officer in the detective department in 1972 and a Splicer lineman for GTE Telephone Company for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, father and two brothers.
George is survived by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 5 sons, 4 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Tuesday and Wednesday December 28 and 29 from 5pm to 8pm at Einan's Funeral Home at 915 Bypass Highway in Richland. Services will be held on December 30, 2010 at 1pm at Morning Star Baptist Church at 631 South Douglas Street in Pasco.
In lieu of flowers, contact family member at 323677-7180 to contribute to the George E. Johnson Jr. memorial fund.
George was a student in my Tae Kwon Do Class,George was a excellent student and had great respect and was a very humble person, he will be greatly missed.

George will be missed. His gentle ways, politeness and respect did not go unnoticed.
George was one of my students in Tae Kwon Do. He possessed an indominable spirit, was very respected and respected others in return. I will miss him very much.
George frequented the same Starbucks as I did. He was alway very kind and so friendly to everyone. We will miss his face coming through the door in the morning…

I knew George from Richland Tae Kuan Do. He was a most interesting person and had a good sense of humor. I am glad that I got to know him the little bit that I did. My deepest condolences to his loved ones.
