Melissa Theresa Moone, 34 of Richland, Washington passed away on October 25, 2011 in Richland.
She was born on March 1, 1977 in Levittown, Pennsylvania to Richard Hunt and Belinda Moone.
Melissa has lived in the Tri-Cities for 20 years working as a caregiver. She was known and loved for her generosity and willingness to love and help anyone in need in the blink of the eye and without judgment. Melissa was the greatest daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She had a beautiful and unique outlook on life. She was always true to who she was and allowed everyone around her to be who they were as well. Melissa deeply touched the lives of many people in the 34 years she lived. She is and will remain a true inspiration to those who knew and loved her.
Melissa is survived by daughter Belinda Heather Ya el Moone; sister Andrea Faye Israel Villarreal; mother Belinda Marlene Moone; nieces Aviana Belinda Villarreal and Nevaeh Ruby Villarreal.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father Richard Hunt.
A private memorial service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011.
Donations may be made in Melissa's name through the Richland branch of Gesa Credit Union.
Melissa will be greatly missed, never forgotten and always in our hearts. We love you Melissa.
You were my BEST friend.I still cannot wrap my head around that your gone. I miss you sooo much! You were the only one that called me and actually cared what happens in my life everyday. We had so much fun together and we will again someday. I Love you always and forever.
