Leonarda, our beloved Mother and Grandmother was called home to heavenly father on April 3, 2012. She was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on November 12, 1929. She was the oldest daughter of Benjamin and Berta Acevedo.
She married Luic C. Gutierrez and together they had 4 children. Mario Gutierrez, Corvalis Oregon, Lisa Steel, Richland WA, Bettie Kehoe, Silverdale WA and Sylvia Gutierrez, Moses Lake WA.
Leonarda was proceeded in death by her husband and parents. Left to cherish her memory are her children, 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
My prayers are with you and your family, Lisa. I know your Mama is at peace now, no more pain. She will be with you always and always!! <3
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mother. Remember, she will live on in your heart and memories. I pray she has found peace in the arms of our Lord, and I am sure she will watch over you all now as your own special guardian angel.

Bettie I will miss the funny stories you told about your mom, keep them close to your heart. She was a great lady and I am blessed to have known her. The service was very nice and Leonarda was a lucky woman. She was loved by many who paid their respects and adoration for the mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin she was. The love of a mother lives on through her children. She is now resting in peace.
