Kenneth Elbert Lowry, 57, of Kennewick, passed away March 7, 2013 at Hospice at the Chaplaincy in Kennewick, surrounded by family.
Ken was born January 16, 1956 in Spokane, Washington. His early childhood memories included playing in the Spokane River with siblings, and playing on the dock during Newman Lake and Liberty Lake cabin vacations.
Ken loved country music, fishing, being outside hunting, hiking, exploring, and collecting antiques.
He was a very talented carpenter/concrete contractor. Doing commercial floors by himself made him the most proud.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Alicia Johnson; brother, James Lowry and wife Debi; sister, Mary Kathrine Wilcox and husband Guy; brother, John V. Lowry and wife Janet; eight nieces and nephews. Melinda Buiwalda and family were his second family.
Preceding him in death are his father, Elbert Houston Lowry and his brother, Robert C. Lowry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Memories at Sunset Event Center. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, also at Memories at Sunset.

Love cousin Connie
I met Kenny in junior high school. During our high school years a group of us went to the hydro plane races. He was always very nice to me and had a beautiful smile. His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
