Curley was the most compassionate man I know, he always had kind words for everyone! He will be greatly missed! My prayers are with all of the Watkins family. He is now with the love of his life Marge and they are smiling down on all of us.
Curley was a friend to all of our faamily starting in the early hears of Hanford. A better friend a man never had. When we teen agers needed special favors to get our old cars running Curley was always there to help. When my mother had car problems he would go out of his was to assist her. The same could be said regarding many widows, single women. Curley gave me buckets of tire weights that I turned into fishing sinkers, never charging me a penny for them. Curley was a honest true man in every way. May Heavenly Father bless all of his family with peace an comfort and a feeling of gratefulness for having such a wonderful father and grandfather.

To the Watkins family I am deeply sorry about your fathers passing; I only recently found out about your loss. Curley was an awesome man with great values. He had a love for life, adored his family and was a very patient and caring individual. Some of my fondest memories were of growing up next door to his sons Mike, Rick and Terry; they were all like brothers to me. It’s a heck of a thing to loose a parent. I miss my own father deeply. I’ll always remember the good old days, the stories, and the loving hand of a father. Curley was a very happy man and I remember how he was always whistling away to some unknown toon on his way to work as well as after a hard day. I am sorry for not being able to make it to his funeral; I’ve recently been battling with cancer and am spending as much time with my kids as possible. To the entire Watkins family may The Lord keep you and watch over you. God Bless. -Huey
