John and family,

I worked with Pat at PNNL. She was a classy, snappily dressed woman with a lot of confidence and smarts. She made a difference.
John and Family,
So sorry to learn of the passing of your mother John. A mother’s love and presence is very much missed even as we ourselves grow older and have children of our own. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Pat and I worked a number of years together — through some great times, and through some budget cutbacks. Pat was a professional, always did her job extremely well, and with a sense of humor and grace.
I missed seeing her fiery hair in later years, but then, it takes a red head to know a red head. We will all miss her.
