Send FlowersOne of the Greatest Generation, without whom I would probably not be here. Thank you.
Cousins; Mark, Barbra, Mike. Janet, Ellen and Martha,
i wish you heart felt condolences for Uncle Bobs’ passing and will always cherish the time we did have.
Take time to take care of each other.
With Love, Stacey
When I was about five years old my mother took me to Dr. Franco to complete a surgical procedure begun at another hospital. I am hazy on the details but it was unusual enough that Dr. Franco would comment on it every time I saw him through the years. When I was 11 I had a schoolyard accident involving another student falling on my head. My mother took me to Dr. Franco for some emergency cleanup and stitching, and he removed a tooth from my head. I can still hear the nurse saying, “A tooth,Doctor! A tooth!”. I remember reading A Bridge Too Far and finding his name in the list of soldiers the author interviewed; I asked him about it one time during a visit, and noticed his Army Parachute School diploma right next to his medical school diploma.
Dr. Franco was a great man. I wish there were more like him.

The world is a lesser place with your passing, Bob. It was an honor to have the lives of my family touched by having known you.
Our condolences to the Franco family. Your father was like a grandfather to my daughters, when we lived in Richland. He was a wonderful man.
warm regards to all, the Weiss family
When I think back to my childhood many of my most meaningful experiences and impactful discussions involved Bob. He was a mentor, friend, and along with Eileen, felt like a grandparent in many ways. He touched many and left a lasting imprint on me. I’m grateful for the time I was able to spend with him and for his presence in mine an others’ lives. He will be missed.
A great physician and an even finer gentleman!
I was his patient as a teenager….he was also a valued family friend.

So Sorry to hear about Dr. Franco. It was a pleasure working with him in the old hospital in the late 60’s and Dr. Franco giving me professional courtesies. I know he will be missed by many.
Dr. Franco is indeed a loss. He was my doctor for many, many years–and he never forgot me. He will certainly be missed. God bless all the family.
I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Franco”s passing.
He was truly one of the good guys. I went to work in Medical Records at the old Kadlec right after college. I didn’t have a car and Dr. Franco
would give me a ride in his little blue car. He was a caring, wonderful doctor. They don’t come any finer.
Thank you Dr.Franco for saving my grandfather’s life in WWII, I wouldn’t be here today without you. He and our family treasured your life long friendship. You are a true hero!

Bob and Ilene are in so many of my childhood memories. My sincerest condolences to his family. Every time I think of skiing I think of the Franco family. Lyndy Wheeler Myers
