Susan Lynn Bilahorka
Susan Lynn Bilahorka was born October 1, 1954 and passed away August 31, 2013 after a 15 month battle with cancer. She was an outstanding wife and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Susan was born to Frances Granger Carr and John H. Carr at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Susan's father was a career naval officer and so the family traveled extensively. She was a 1972 graduate from Ledyard High School, Ledyard, Connecticut and a Rhode Island Business School.
In 1976 she met John Bilahorka and a year later they were married in New London, Connecticut. The following year they moved to Pasco, Washington, where she resided until her death.
Susan's proudest family moments were attending the births of her two granddaughters, Angela and Ashley, and seeing her daughter grow into a fine and outstanding mother, wife and attending her graduation as a registered nurse.
Susan worked in the Legal Process Unit as a court clerk for the Benton-Franklin Juvenile Justice Center for over 20 years. She was very proud of the work she did there especially her association with the Juvenile Drug Court program. Her association with her fellow workers and Commissioners was something she cherished her entire life.
Susan loved to read, cross stitch, and was known to play a slot machine or two. When her daughter was younger she was active in the Mark Twain Elementary School PTA, a volleyball team parent and became the Bethel Guardian for Bethel #46, Kennewick, Washington, for Jobs Daughters. Susan and her husband were also foster parents for many years.
She is survived by her husband John of 35 years, parents John and Francis Carr of Gig Harbor, Wa, daughter Michelle and son-in law Scott of California, Md, granddaughters Angela and Ashley Cox of California, Md, her sister Peggy Zinn Bob of Marion, Oh, and her brother William Carr Helen of Miami, Fl.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Einan's Funeral Home at the Memories at Sunset Event Center on September 8th, 2013, starting at 3 p.m. In-lieu of flowers donations can be made the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House.

I want to express my sympathy for your loss and to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Sue was a wonderful person. She will be truly missed.
Sue was a great co-worker and friend, she had the biggest heart anyone could have. I’ve missed her since the day she left me at juvie, seems just like yesterday that we were having lunches together and sharing our mocha runs. She will be truly missed. My heart goes out to John and Michelle may you find peace in this difficult time.
Sue was a great co-worker and friend, she had the biggest heart anyone could have. I’ve missed her since the day she left me at juvie, it seems just like yesterday that we were having lunches together and splitting the mocha runs. My heart goes out to John and Michelle, may you find peace in this difficult time. I will miss you my friend.
Although I hadn’t seen Sue in many years I remember her as a wonderful and lively lady. I am filled with sorrow for her family and pray God’s comfort for them during this difficult time.
